Risk Analyst / Model Developer

Your Profile

  • Your university and professional background is in Mathematics, Statistics, Machine Learning or Computer Science (or Psychology)
  • You have strong analytic + quantitative capabilities
  • You bring along experience with statistical data analysis and data mining
  • You have strong knowledge of pattern recognition algorithms and techniques of supervised learning, such as:
    Neural Nets
    Hierarchical / tree-based Clustering
    Decision trees
    SVMs
  • You are experienced in processing high-dimensional data sets, dimensionality reduction / principal component analysis
  • You have experience with data preprocessing (cleaning, parsing, slicing)
  • You have good working knowledge with R and Matlab
  • You have experience with Factor Analysis / Feature Selection Algorithms
  • You are experienced in using Model Ensembling Techniques (Bagging / Boosting)
  • Additional experience with Java is a strong advantage
  • Experience with model development in the financal or lending industry or in the area of psychology are a strong advantage
  • You speak English fluently, any other language or German are not required but an additional plus

Your role at Kreditech

As a Risk Analyst/Model Developer you will work in a team together with our Risk Manager, who is an experienced professional in the area of payday loans/scoring technology. You will be responsible for contributing to and constantly improving our industry leading risk engine and Loan Processing Mechanism.
In this role, you will manage product design and credit policy (approve/decline, loan amount) to deliver compelling value to the customer while managing our company’s performance and associated economics.
You will be the one doing data-driven analysis to differentiate credit risk across customer profiles. To do this, you will use available data as well as design tests & experiments to create additional data to inform strategy development.

Customer Care Agent Polish / Spanish / Czech / Russian markets

Your Profile:

  • You have an interest / experience in Customer Care from your field of study (Human Resources, Philology, Economy etc.) and/or working experience (startup, consulting, banking, etc.)
  • You have advanced typing skills and love live-chat communication
  • You are resistant to different complaints from customers
  • You are accustomed to working independently, with speed, detailed and results oriented
  • You are used to working under time pressure and are ambitious
  • You are eager to change the world and/or founded your own internet business
  • You are a native speaker in a country language and fluent in English, German is a plus
  • You are a team player and have this certain entrepreneurial thinking

Your areas of responsibilities:

  • You will be the heart of our business with the upside to become a full-time team player of Kreditech if you prove your capability within the first months.
  • You will gain exposure to best practices in Online Marketing, Customer Support etc.
  • You will learn how to work twice as fast at twice as much fun.

Country manager Polish / Spanish / Czech / Russian markets

  • You are used to work under time pressure and are ambitious
  • You are eager to change the world and/or found your own internet business
  • You are native speaker in a country language and fluent in English; German is a plus
  • You are a team player and have this certain entrepreneurial thinking
  • Optional: You bring some expertise in Business Development within the financial or juristic sector (this would be a nice-to-have, not a requirement)
